Apogee Optocom Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2019. For the third quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 167.613 million compared to TWD 100.835 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 50.389 million compared to operating loss of TWD 11.867 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 39.356 million compared to net loss of TWD 9.983 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 1.18 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.3 a year ago. For the nine months, sales was TWD 432.380 million compared to TWD 325.988 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 97.352 million compared to operating loss of TWD 9.407 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 81.542 million compared to net loss of TWD 1.904 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 2.44 compared to basic loss per share of TWD 0.06 a year ago.
Apogee Optocom Co., Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the design, production and distribution of precision optical components, dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) key components, such as thin film filter (TFF). The Company mainly provides optical filters used as active and passive components for optical communication. In addition, it is involved in the optical coating for light emitting diode (LED) optical crystal chips. The Company also distributes spectrometers. The Companyâs products are applied in the local area network, consumer electronics, displays and others. It distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
