Apple is expected to unveil its latest lineup of iPhones on Tuesday during an annual event that will also introduce a few of the tech giant's other new offerings.

The annual event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. PDT/1 p.m. EDT from Apple's world headquarters in Cupertino, Calif.

As with the 2020 event, Tuesday's will again be staged entirely online due to COVID-19.

Headlining the new products to be announced Tuesday is Apple's iPhone 13, which is expected to feature new technologies and various models, likely a mini, a regular, a Pro and a Pro Max. The design, which was new last year with the iPhone 12, is not expected to change much.

The iPhone 13 will be Apple's first iPhone since the availability of COVID-19 vaccines, which experts say might increase demand. It will also be the second iPhone with 5G capabilities, following the iPhone 12 a year ago.

Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo told MacRumors that the iPhone 13 lineup will likely begin with 128 gigabytes of storage and run up to 512 gigabytes. The iPhone Pro and iPhone Pro Max are expected to offer up to 1 terabyte -- 1,000 gigabytes -- of storage for the first time. The iPhone 12 topped out at 512 gigabytes.

Camera upgrades on the iPhone 13 could include an improved optical zoom for video recording and astrophotography capability. The device is also expected to have a faster A15 processing chip, smaller notches that cover up less of the screen and a 120hz display.

Also expected at Tuesday's event is a new Apple Watch with a larger screen, redesigned AirPods and a launch date for Apple's iOS 15.
