Arbeit-Times Co., Ltd. (JASDAQ:2341) announces a share repurchase program. Under the program, the company will repurchase up to 700,000 shares, representing 2.58% of its share capital for ¥200 million. The company is repurchasing its shares through market purchases by trust method. The company will repurchase its shares in order to enable the implementation of a flexible capital policy which responds to changes in the business environment, and aim for shareholder returns. The share repurchase program will run until June 30, 2017. As of March 31, 2017, the company had 27,093,193 shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares) and 5,844,056 shares in treasury.
Arbeit-Times Co Ltd is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the information provision business and the sales promotion support business. The Company operates through two segments. The Information Provision segment is engaged in the operation and sale of job information magazines and job information websites and sale of recruitment management systems. The Information Provision segment publishes the mainstay DOMO job information magazine and the DOMO Leaf joint job flier and operates and sells the DOMO NET job information website. The Company also operates Wagasha de DOMO, an owned media that provides a recruitment management system. The Sales Promotion Support segment commercializes its know-how in the distribution of free newspapers and provide a service to set up racks at supermarkets, train stations, shopping centers, universities, and other places that attract customers, and post free newspapers and pamphlets published by various businesses.
