On March 14, BlackRock, acting on behalf of clients and funds, declared to the AMF that it had exceeded the threshold of 5% of Arkema's capital and held, on behalf of said clients and funds, 5.03% of the capital and 4.06% of the voting rights of the chemicals group.

The American asset management behemoth explains that this threshold crossing results from an acquisition of Arkema shares on the market and an increase in the number of shares held as collateral.
