MILWAUKEE (AP) _ Artisan Partners Asset Management Inc. (APAM) on Tuesday reported second-quarter earnings of $88.2 million.

The Milwaukee-based company said it had profit of $1.33 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time items, were $1.28 per share.

The investment management firm posted revenue of $304.9 million in the period.

Artisan Partners shares have decreased 1.5% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $49.61, an increase of 31% in the last 12 months.
