Bizim Toptan Satis Magazalari A.S. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TRY 4,985.33 million compared to TRY 3,147.84 million a year ago. Net loss was TRY 30.48 million compared to net income of TRY 36.43 million a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TRY 9,481.6 million compared to TRY 5,495.92 million a year ago. Net loss was TRY 61.04 million compared to net income of TRY 61.48 million a year ago.
Bizim Toptan Satis Magazalari AS is a Turkey-based company engaged in the wholesale of fast-moving consumer goods. It has 106 stores in 54 provinces of Turkey selling over 7,000 different kinds of products under various categories, including milk and dairy products, canned food, delicatessen, tobacco products, meat and related products, hygiene products, paper products, home ware, textile products, automobile accessories, decoration products, communication products, staple food, soft drinks, alcoholic drinks, bread and pastry products, personal care products, cosmetics, electronic appliances and energy and illumination products. It also has 192 products under its own brand name that are sold in its stores. These brands include: Besler, Sealady, BTT, Dolphin, balTurk and bahar. The Company's main customers are retailers; catering businesses, such as restaurants, patisseries and hotels, and corporations.
