BP restarted its 440,000 b/d Whiting, Ind., refinery Monday after a shutdown Feb. 1 on what was called at the time a suspected power outage. A statement from company spokesperson Christina Audisho said, "The Whiting Refinery is back to normal operations."

Group 3 sub-octane gasoline (V-grade) 8.5-lb RVP was pegged at 25.75cts under the NYMEX April RBOB contract, even to Monday's mean. The implied price moved back on futures, down by 0.31ct to $2.4967/gal as of 11:00 a.m. ET.

Group 3 sub-octane gasoline (V-grade) 13.5-lb RVP was gauged at a 27.75ct discount to the April RBOB contract, wider by 0.25ct from Monday. The implied price was weaker by 0.56ct at $2.4767/gal.

Chicago Comprehensive March Cycle 3 CBOB was put at 18.5cts, a 1.25ct narrowed discount from Monday. The implied price increased by 0.94ct to $2.5692/gal.

Diesel prices in the Midwest region saw decreasing futures Tuesday morning.

Group 3 ULSD (X-grade) was gauged at a 6.25ct discount to the screen, on par with Monday's mean. The implied price was lower by 2.59cts to $2.6998/gal.

Chicago Comprehensive March Cycle 3 ULSD's premium to futures didn't change at 4.5cts, with the implied price falling by 2.59cts to $2.8073/gal.
