Knowledge Merchants Works Inc. announced that it has received JPY 170 million in its series A round of funding on September 3, 2018. The transaction included participation from en-japan inc. (TSE:4849), GMO VenturePartners, Inc., DD Holdings Co.,Ltd. (TSE:3073), BrainPad Inc. (TSE:3655), Value Create Inc. and several individual investors including Hideto Fujino. The company has raised JPY 270 million in funding till date.
BrainPad Inc. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the provision of data analysis services for companies. The Company operates its business through three segments. The Analytics segment is engaged in the provision of data analysis services and optimization operations for companies aiming to support clientsâ activities. The Solutions segment is engaged in the selection and provision of software products necessary for policy execution based on data accumulation, analysis and analysis results, and system development and operation. The Marketing Platform segment develops its own proprietary software from the data analysis algorithm mainly in the digital marketing field and provides products centered on Software as a Service (SaaS) type services, and maintenance service.
