BRT Apartments Corp. reported earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2023. For the third quarter, the company reported sales was USD 23.51 million compared to USD 21.69 million a year ago. Revenue was USD 23.85 million compared to USD 21.7 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 1.49 million compared to net income of USD 7.06 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.08 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.37 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.08 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.37 a year ago.
For the nine months, sales was USD 69.7 million compared to USD 47.8 million a year ago. Revenue was USD 70.11 million compared to USD 47.82 million a year ago. Net income was USD 5.61 million compared to USD 54.17 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.3 compared to USD 2.91 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.27 compared to USD 2.89 a year ago.
BRT Apartments Corp. is a real estate investment trust that owns, operates and, to a lesser extent, holds interests in joint ventures that own multifamily properties. The Company owns or has interests in about 28 multifamily properties with 7,707 units in 11 states. Generally, its multifamily properties are garden apartments, mid-rise or town home-style properties that provide residents with amenities, such as a clubhouse, swimming pool, laundry facilities and cable television access. In addition to its multifamily properties, the Company owns assets, and in particular, real estate assets. The Companyâs properties include Silvana Oaks Apartments, Avondale Station, Brixworth at Bridge Street, Newbridge Commons, Crossings of Bellevue, Avalon Apartments, Parkway Grande, Woodland Trails, Grove at River Place, Kilburn Crossing, The Woodland Apartments, The Pointe at Lenox Park, Mercer Crossing, and Village at Lakeside, among others.
