The Board of Directors of Sam Whan Camus Co. Ltd. (KOSE:A013700) authorized a share repurchase program on August 3, 1994. Under the program, the company repurchase up to KRW 3 billion worth own shares pursuant to a trust agreement with Hana Daetoo Securities Co., Ltd.
On September 24, 2002, the company extended its share repurchase program until October 8, 2007. The purpose of the program is to stabilize share prices.
On September 20, 2007, the company extended its share repurchase program until October 8, 2012.
On August 24, 2012, the company announced that it will terminate the program on September 21, 2012. The shares will be repurchased for cash. Hana Daetoo Securities Co., Ltd. acted as a broker to Sam Whan Camus Co. Ltd.
Sam Whan Camus Co. Ltd.'s share repurchase program expired on September 21, 2012.
