Capita PLC said Tuesday it has agreed on a three-year extension to a Primary Care Support England, or PCSE, contract with the U.K.'s National Health Service valued at 94 million pounds ($117.8 million).

The London-listed professional-services provider said that the extension was prepriced within the existing contract, and that the transaction value was already included in its order book.

The company said the extension builds on the existing PCSE contract, which was secured in 2015 and will run until Aug. 31, 2025.

Under the agreement, Capita will deliver digital, logistical and support services for all of England's primary care practitioners working in the NHS, including general practitioners, dentists, opticians and pharmacists, the company said.

"The extension of our contract with NHS England and NHS Improvement reflects our focus and commitment to continuing to improve and deliver for the organization, as for all our clients and customers," Chief Executive Al Murray said.
