Champion Building Materials Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2020. For the second quarter, the company announced total revenue was TWD 1,137.651 million compared to TWD 1,473.165 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 221.232 million compared to operating Income of TWD 55.149 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 265.235 million compared to net income of TWD 14.471 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.61 compared to basic earnings per share of TWD 0.03 a year ago. For the half year, total revenue was TWD 1,823.254 million compared to TWD 2,311.114 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 460.086 million compared to TWD 245.126 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 536.055 million compared to TWD 292.115 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 1.24 compared to TWD 0.67 a year ago.
Champion Building Materials Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacturing and trading of ceramic tiles. The main products include polished tiles, facade tiles, marble tiles, slate tiles, floor tiles and wall tiles are used for laying exterior walls, floors and walls of buildings. The Company is also engaged in the manufacturing of stone products business, development of specialized area, new town and new community business, manufacturing of refractory materials and other chemical products business. The main products are mainly sold to Asia, America and Australia and others.
