Champion Building Materials Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2019. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was TWD 1,534.168 million compared to TWD 1,782.119 million a year ago. Operating income was TWD 55.149 million compared to TWD 84.792 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 14.471 million compared to TWD 9.041 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was TWD 0.03 compared to TWD 0.02 a year ago. For the half year, sales was TWD 2,431.681 million compared to TWD 2,756.406 million a year ago. Operating loss was TWD 245.126 million compared to TWD 205.906 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 292.115 million compared to TWD 277.509 million a year ago. Basic loss per share was TWD 0.67 compared to TWD 0.64 a year ago.
Champion Building Materials Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacturing and trading of ceramic tiles. The main products include polished tiles, facade tiles, marble tiles, slate tiles, floor tiles and wall tiles are used for laying exterior walls, floors and walls of buildings. The Company is also engaged in the manufacturing of stone products business, development of specialized area, new town and new community business, manufacturing of refractory materials and other chemical products business. The main products are mainly sold to Asia, America and Australia and others.
