ENTERING INTO AN EPC CONTRACT REGARDING THE EXPANSION PROJECT OF SHAANXI FUGU QINGSHUICHUAN COAL ELECTRICITY INTEGRATION PROJECT POWER PLANT PHASE III (2×1,000MW) BY A SUBSIDIARY OF THE COMPANY

This announcement is made by China Energy Engineering Corporation Limited (the "Company") on a voluntary basis.

The board of directors of the Company (the "Board") is pleased to announce that, China Power

Engineering Consulting Group Northwest Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd.* (中國電力工程 顧問集團西北電力設計院有限公司), a subsidiary of China Energy Engineering Group Planning and Engineering Co., Ltd.* (中國能源建設集團規劃設計有限公司) (a subsidiary of the Company), has

entered into an EPC contract regarding the expansion project of Shaanxi Fugu Qingshuichuan coal electricity integration project power plant phase III (2×1,000MW) (the "Project").

The Project is located in Fugu County, Shaanxi Province. It primarily consists of construction of expansion project of Shaanxi Fugu Qingshuichuan coal electricity integration project power plant phase III (2×1,000MW), including survey, design, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning.
