ANNOUNCEMENT

RESIGNATION OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

The Board announces that Mr. Zheng Shaoping has tendered his resignation as Executive Director of the Company with effect from 10 August 2021.

The Board of Directors (the "Board") of China Merchants Port Holdings Company Limited (the "Company") announces that Mr. Zheng Shaoping has tendered his resignation as Executive Director of the Company to devote more attention to his other commitments with effect from 10 August 2021.

The Board would like to take this opportunity to express its gratitude and appreciation to Mr. Zheng Shaoping for his remarkable contributions to the Company during his term of office. Mr. Zheng Shaoping has confirmed that he has no disagreement with the Board and there are no matters in relation to his resignation that need to be brought to the attention of the holders of securities of the Company.
