Corporación Acciona Energías Renovables, S.A. reported earnings results for the half year ended June 30, 2022. For the half year, the company reported sales was EUR 2,206 million compared to EUR 1,041 million a year ago. Net income was EUR 390 million compared to EUR 153 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was EUR 1.2 compared to EUR 0.5 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was EUR 1.2 compared to EUR 0.5 a year ago.
Corporación Acciona Energías Renovables, S.A. is specialized in the development, engineering, construction and operation of renewable power plants. Net sales break down by type of power plants as follows:
- wind power plants (46.4%);
- hydroelectric power plants (4.9%);
- photovoltaic power plants (4.2%);
- thermo-solar and biomass power plants (1.9%);
- other (42.6%).
At the end of 2023, the group had an installed capacity of 12,131 MW.
Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: Spain (68.4%), Europe (7.9%), Americas (20%), Australia (1.5%) and others (2.2%).
