(Alliance News) - CT UK High Income Trust PLC on Thursday said David Moss will succeed Philip Webster as the company's portfolio manager with immediate effect.

Moss has worked as the Edinburgh, Scotland-based investment trust's investment manager for the last 25 years, which became part of Columbia Threadneedle Investments Ltd in 2021, CT UK High Income said, where he is currently head of European equities research strategy.

CT UK High Income said the move would not change its investment policy and objective, while the board believes Moss' experience would help deliver the company's investment objective for shareholders.

Moss replaces Webster, who was appointed to the role in 2017, CT UK High Income noted.

Class A shares in CT UK High Income were up 0.6% to 78.43 pence each in London on Thursday afternoon, while class B shares were up 2.5% to 82.00p each.
