Daesang Holdings Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A084690) agreed to acquire a 70% stake in Haesung Provision Co. Ltd. for KRW 49 billion on October 27, 2021. The consideration will be paid in cash. Upon completion of the transaction, Daesang Holdings will hold 70,000 shares, representing 70% stake in Haesung Provision Co. The Haesung Provision Co. had total assets, total debt, total equity, sales and net income of KRW 31 billion, KRW 16 billion, KRW 15 billion, KRW 201 billion and KRW 9 billion, respectively, for the current year ended March 31, 2021. The transaction is expected to close on November 30, 2021.
