Daito Electron Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the first six months ended June 30, 2013. For the period, the company reported net sales of ¥17,191 million, operating loss of ¥25 million, ordinary income of ¥33 million and net income of ¥0 million or ¥0.06 per share compared to net sales of ¥18,666 million, operating income of ¥284 million, ordinary income of ¥337 million and net income of ¥154 million or ¥13.99 per share reported in the same period last year. Net income before taxes and adjustments was ¥32.5 million against ¥198.3 million reported last year. As a results of operating activities, the Fund increased ¥393 million compared to ¥891 decrease reported in the same period last year.
For the fiscal year ending December 31, 2013, the company reported year end dividend forecast of ¥10.00 per share compared to ¥10.00 per share declared last year.
For the fiscal year ending December 31, 2013, the company expected to report net sales of ¥37,000 million, operating income of ¥520,000 million, ordinary income of ¥500,000 million and net income of ¥270,000 million or ¥24.30 per share.
