Daito Electron Reports Earnings Results for the Six Months Ended June 30, 2016; Provides Earnings Guidance for the Year Ending December 31, 2016

Daito Electron reported earnings results for the six months ended June 30, 2016. For the period, net income attributable to parent shareholders was JPY 576.6 million, or JPY 51.93 per share, compared to JPY 660.38 million, or JPY 59.47 per share, for the same period ended June 30, 2015. Net sales were JPY 21.85 billion, compared to JPY 22 billion for the same period ended June 30, 2015. Operating income was JPY 1.08 billion, compared to JPY 949 million for the same period ended June 30, 2015.

For the year ending December 31, 2016, the company expects net income to be JPY 1.02 billion and net income per share to be JPY 91.86. The company also expects net sales to be JPY 46.5 billion.
