NOTICE TO THE MARKET
RAISING OF FUNDS
DURATEX S.A. ("Duratex" or "Company") informs its shareholders and the market in general the contracting of a credit line with a term of use of up to 2 years from the National Development Bank (BNDES), approved within the scope of BNDES Finame Direto in the total amount of R$ 697.0 million. These funds will be used for the acquisition of nationally manufactured machines, equipment and materials, in addition to raw materials used in Duratex's production process.
The Company aims at this funding to improve its liquidity and indebtedness profile, after recent investments such as the construction of new unit of dissolving wood pulp, joint venture LD Celulose S.A. with Lenzing AG, besides to be prepared for future challenges.
