Dialog Axiata PLC reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2022. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was LKR 178,130.76 million compared to LKR 141,914.84 million a year ago. Net loss was LKR 33,387.92 million compared to net income of LKR 17,060.81 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was LKR 4.06 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of LKR 2.08 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was LKR 4.04 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of LKR 2.06 a year ago.
For the full year, the company reported sales was LKR 50,948.78 million compared to LKR 37,123.56 million a year ago. Net loss was LKR 8,291.31 million compared to net income of LKR 4,586.83 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was LKR 1.01 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of LKR 0.56 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was LKR 1.01 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of LKR 0.56 a year ago.
