(Alliance News) - At mid-day on Tuesday, major European stock markets continued to move above parity following the release of the Eurozone's growth-slowed and employment data for the fourth quarter of 2022.

Thus, the FTSE Mib is in the green by 0.4 percent to 27,556.90 as is the Mid-Cap, up at 44,652.54, while the Small-Cap rises 0.5 percent to 30,362.20 and Italy Growth picks up 0.2 percent to 9,681.42.

In Europe, Paris' CAC 40 is in the green by 0.5 percent as is London's FTSE 100, while Frankfurt's DAX 40 is up 0.3 percent.

In the fourth quarter of 2022, seasonally adjusted GDP in the Eurozone increased by 0.1 percent, while it was stable in the EU compared to the previous quarter, according to Eurostat data released Tuesday.

In the third quarter of 2022, GDP had grown by 0.3 percent in both the eurozone and the EU.

Employment increased by 0.4 percent in both the euro area and the EU in the fourth quarter of 2022, compared with the previous quarter, when employment increased by 0.3 percent in the euro area and 0.2 percent in the EU.

On the main list of Piazza Affari, DiaSorin rises 1.1 percent after announcing Tuesday that Luminex Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of DiaSorin, has reached an agreement with Cytek Biosciences to sell all assets related to its Flow Cytometry & Imaging business unit.

The deal - for which no financial details were provided - is expected to be finalized within the next 30 days.

Enel Finance International, a Dutch-registered holding company controlled by Enel -- up 0.6 percent -- on Monday launched a sustainability-linked bond in two tranches aimed at institutional investors for a total of EUR1.5 billion on the eurobond market.

The new issue includes for the first time Enel's use of multiple Key Performance Indicators per tranche, further reinforcing Enel's commitment to an accelerated energy transition.

Unipol is up 0.3 percent after reporting Friday that it ended 2022 with a net profit of EUR866 million, up from EUR796 million a year earlier.

Saipem gains 1.8 percent, after announcing Monday that it had signed two new credit lines totaling EUR860 million with a pool of leading domestic and international lenders.

Also doing well are the other two oil stocks on the list, Tenaris rises 2.0% and Eni moves ahead 1.0%.

On the Mid-Cap, Zignago Vetro leads the way with a 5.1% rise. On Monday it reported that Roberto Cardini, the company's chief executive officer, exercised his option on the share subscription following the exercise of stock option plan to 2021 on 65,500 shares.

The unit price was EUR7.27 per share.

Fincantieri gives up 1.0%. The company, along with Leonardo - in the green by 1.0% - announced that, as part of working with the local industrial ecosystem and strengthening collaboration between Italy and Greece, it has signed a number of additional memorandums of understanding with potential new Greek suppliers, laying the groundwork for the definition of possible business relationships.

Maire Tecnimont--down 0.1 percent--announced Monday that its subsidiary NextChem has been awarded a feasibility study by Foresight Group for a carbon dioxide capture and sustainable methanol production facility at Eta's waste-to-energy plant in Manfredonia, Puglia.

UnipolSai rises 0.1 percent. It reported Friday that it ended 2022 with a consolidated net income of EUR651 million compared to EUR723 million in the previous year.

On Small-Cap, the Aedes board of directors-unchanged at EUR0.29 per share as at the opening-approved the 2023 budget guidelines, postponing some actions planned in the 2020-2026 Business Plan for the current year, with particular reference to divestments and real estate developments.

The company explained in a note that it "considers the economic targets set out in the Plan for 2023 in relation to rental revenue and Ebitda as well as the LTV capital target to be reasonably achievable."

The board of directors of AbitareIn -- up 0.7 percent -- on Monday approved the consolidated interim report as of December 31, 2022, reporting a profit for the year of EUR1.1 million from EUR1.9 million in 2021.

As of December 31, 2022, consolidated revenues were EUR44.4 million from EUR35.5 million in the same period last year.

Banca Sistema -- down 3.6 percent -- reported Monday that the head of its Factoring division, Andrea Trupia, sold 11,000 ordinary shares in the bank.

The shares were sold at an average price of about EUR1.70 per share, for a total value of more than about EUR18,700.

Among SMEs, Tenax International rises 5.6 percent, after announcing Monday that its pre-consolidation turnover recorded in 2022 amounts to EUR17.2 million, up 61 percent from EUR10.7 million in 2021.

ReeVo - in the red by 0.4 percent - announced Tuesday that it had begun its internationalization process with the opening of ReeVo Cloud & Cyber Security, a limited liability company under Spanish law, wholly owned by ReeVo, in Spain.

Gismondi 1754, on the other hand, picks up 2.3 percent after announcing on Monday that it had booked orders totaling just over EUR2.0 million as of January 2023.

Farmacosmo trades in the green by 3.1 percent after announcing on Monday that revenues for 2022 stand at over EUR63 million, up 10 percent from 2021.

Growth is driven by the retail channel of the pharmacosmo.co.uk portal, which is up more than 30 percent for the year.

Pro-forma 2022 group revenues stand at around EUR76 million, up 31 percent from the EUR58 million recorded by Pharmacosmo alone in 2021, and pro-forma consolidated revenues stand at around EUR65.2 million.

Unidata is in the green by 1.6 percent after it announced on Monday that it won the tender as a Temporary Grouping of Companies or RTI, with the role of mandatary, together with BIP Spa and Lektor for the functional supplies for the realization of the Automatic Meter Management System of Azienda Municipalizzata Acquedotto di Palermo, the water consumption monitoring system of the Metropolitan City of Palermo.

Spindox is flat at EUR11.60 per share, following the board of directors' approval on Monday of the main consolidated economic-financial data for the full year 2022 closed with a consolidated value of production of EUR82.3 million, up 19 percent from 2021.

Svas Biosana rises 1.4 percent after announcing Monday that it reviewed preliminary unaudited consolidated sales for fiscal year 2022, which came in at EUR97.3 million, up 20 percent from consolidated sales of EUR81.1 million for the year ended Dec. 31, 2021.

Consolidated turnover as of Dec. 31, 2022, includes revenues earned by the Bormia Group in the period from July to December 2022.

In New York on Monday, the Dow closed in the green 1.1 percent at 34,245.93, the Nasdaq gave up 1.5 percent to 11,891.29 while the S&P 500 finished up 1.1 percent at 4,137.29.

Among currencies, the euro changed hands at USD1.0755 versus USD1.0720 at Monday's close. In contrast, the pound is worth USD1.2192 from USD1.2135 on Monday evening.

Among commodities, Brent crude is worth USD85.63 per barrel versus USD86.12 per barrel on Monday evening. Gold, on the other hand, trades at USD1,860.92 an ounce from USD1,853.95 an ounce at Monday's close.

On Tuesday's macroeconomic calendar, the US CPI inflation figure arrives at 1430 CET, while starting at 1700 CET Fed members Logan and Harker will speak. Closing the day is the weekly oil stocks data coming at 2230 CET.
