Dometic has appointed Bengt Thorsson as new Regional President of EMEA with full effect from October 1, 2016. Bengt Thorsson succeeds Joachim Kinscher, who after more than 40 years of service with the company has chosen to step down from his role as Regional President of EMEA and take on an advisory position for the Group. Joachim Kinscher and Bengt Thorsson will work in parallel during a transition period. Bengt Thorsson joins from Scania where he most recently has been Senior Vice President Commercial Operations Europe. Bengt Thorsson succeeds Joachim Kinscher, who, after more than 40 years of service with the company, has chosen to step down from his role as Regional President of EMEA and take on a strategic advisory role for the group. Bengt Thorsson will start on September 1 and will during a transition period in September work jointly with Joachim Kinscher until the above changes take full effect as of October 1. He will work out of Siegen and Emsdetten in Germany.
