Electricity Generating Public Company Limited or EGCO Group approved the interim dividend payment from the first-half-year operation of 2021 at 3.25 baht per share to be paid on 10 September 2021. The dividend payment was driven by rising operating profits in the first half of 2021.
Mr. Thepparat Theppitak, EGCO Group's President, revealed, 'EGCO Group's Board of Directors' meeting dated 16 August 2021 resolved to make an interim dividend payment of 3.25 baht per share from the performance in the first half of 2021. The total interim dividends that will be paid to all shareholders is about 1,711 million baht. The Record Date for the right to receive the dividend is scheduled on 30 August 2021. The interim dividend payment is set to be made on 10 September 2021. Dividend yield is approximately 3.7% based on EGCO's share price at 176.50 baht closing in a morning trading session of 16 August 2021.'
