Elekeiroz SA Forms Joint Venture with Nexoleum

Elekeiroz SA agreed to form a joint venture with Nexoleum products. Both the entities are based in Brazil. The new JV company will be engaged in the production, marketing and distribution of plasticizers green obtained by chemical modification of vegetable oils.

The new plant will be based in Varzea Paulista, Brazil for the production of the plasticizers, with capacity of 24,000 tons per year.

The Company offers a range of chemical products, including phthalic anhydride, maleic anhydride, sulphuric acid, fumaric acid, 2-ethylhexanoic acid, n-butanol and resins, among others. The Company's technology is based on ethyl alcohol derived from sugarcane.
