• Both companies are committed to the positive progress of society in the areas where they operate and are developing a campaign aimed at raising awareness among the population with regard to energy efficiency.
  • Under the concept 'Everything we do counts', Atresmedia is taking a number of actions through its media and with television, radio and digital supports to provide its users with information on how to make energy savings.
  • The campaign includes pioneering formats where the viewer can appreciate how this saving is made in a number of Atresmedia's broadcasts and programmes.

The Atresmedia Group and Endesa have reached an agreement to collaborate in the development of an awareness campaign aimed at promoting efficiency and energy savings amongst Atresmedia's media viewers, listeners and users. This means that both companies are committed to building an inclusive, clean and sustainable future.

With the aim of providing as much information as possible on the concept of Endesa's 'Everything we do counts' campaign, Atresmedia, as the leading communication group in Spain and a benchmark with regard to information, entertainment and credibility, becomes the best ally for this initiative organised by the energy company. A project based on education and public awareness on how to contribute to energy saving, as well as the positive consequences that this entails.

A pioneering initiative that rewards 'non-consumption'

Endesa's alliance with Atresmedia lies within the framework of the launch of the efficiency campaign that the energy company launched a few days ago for its customers. This is the first initiative of its kind that gives economical rewards for the 'non-consumption' of energy to both existing customers and those who register for any of the tariffs that the company has in the deregulated market. Specifically, Endesa offers discounts on its customers' bills if they consume less electricity and provides access to energy efficiency solutions through Endesa X, including the installation of solar panels and efficient air conditioning equipment.

"After the months of turbulence experienced by the energy sector, we detected that more than 70% of customers were worried about their bill and had begun to make changes in their habits, looking for savings. And consuming fewer kW is also saving and helping sustainability. We launched an awareness campaign that not only tries to help customers to be more efficient when it comes to consuming energy, offering them a whole range of energy solutions, but also to reward them for doing this. But this is 360 efficiency. The campaign was produced sustainably and because of the agreement with Atresmedia, it is also broadcast sustainably. And everything we do, counts," said the Chief Executive Officer of Endesa, José Bogas, regarding this campaign and the agreement with Atresmedia.

And Javier Bardají, Chief Executive Officer of Atresmedia, explained the reason for this participation in 'Everything we do counts': "If our Group is known for anything, it is the attention we pay to and our interest in the demands of society. We have always been sensitive to their concerns and undoubtedly in recent times energy efficiency has become one of them. This is not simply an economic issue, but also an environmental one. As part of our commitment to sustainability, we are very proud of this joint awareness campaign with Endesa, in which we have made a commitment to ensuring that the most significant of our media and supports show that it is possible to build an inclusive, clean and sustainable future".
