• Forjas de Castilla's installations are in Almazán, a strategic location for the entire axis of Aragón, Soria, Navarra and La Rioja, and this is where 2 chargers for electric cars will be installed and open to the public: One with 300 kW and the other with 60 kW.
  • Endesa X Way developed a turnkey project which means that the client, an industrial forge with 40 years of experience, will not need to worry about anything because it includes: The installation and start up, operation and maintenance.
  • The chargers will be part of a public access network that Endesa X Way has created in Spain and which includes more than 4,600 charging stations, all with the same user experience and prices.
  • Forjas de Castilla will be able to make these chargers profitable as soon as they start operating, foreseeably at the end of the year.

The location is ideal for the deployment of chargers for electric vehicles with public access. And this is why the agreement reached between Endesa X Way, Endesa's business line dedicated exclusively to electric mobility, and Forjas de Castilla represents such a huge difference compared to all the previous ones: A forge with 40 years' experience in the industrial manufacture of wrought iron, stamping and machining parts that will open electric car chargers to all those driving along the Navarre Motorway (A15) as it passes through Almazán.

This was precisely the key point. The A-15 motorway is 165 kilometres long and passes through the town of Almazán, the second most populated town after the capital Soria. This represents a strategic intersection and an essential feature that graces the confluence between Aragón, Soria, Navarre and La Rioja.

With Soria just over 40 km to the north and the A2 (Barcelona motorway) to the south, the Forjas de Castilla installations will make an ultra-fast 300 kWcharger available to electric car drivers. This will enable 80% of the battery to be recovered in just a few minutes and there will be another 60 kW charger with which it will take about 40 minutes to reach 80%.
