Engie Energia Chile S.A. Announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was USD 388.521 million compared to USD 322.030 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 75.434 million compared to USD 59.063 million a year ago. Net income was USD 47.582 million compared to USD 40.581 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.045 compared to USD 0.039 a year ago. For the half year, sales was USD 720.790 million compared to USD 657.303 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 98.414 million compared to USD 116.309 million a year ago. Net income was USD 29.999 million compared to USD 66.220 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 0.028 compared to USD 0.063 a year ago.
