Engie Energia Chile S.A. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was USD 481.39 million compared to USD 388.52 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 44.15 million compared to net income of USD 47.58 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.042 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.045 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was USD 899.25 million compared to USD 715.47 million a year ago. Net loss was USD 40.41 million compared to net income of USD 30 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was USD 0.038 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of USD 0.028 a year ago.
