Eternal Materials Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 10,849.71 million compared to TWD 13,184.77 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 357.85 million compared to TWD 891.01 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.3 compared to TWD 0.7579 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.3 compared to TWD 0.7579 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 20,425.2 million compared to TWD 25,548.6 million a year ago. Net income was TWD 494.57 million compared to TWD 1,779.51 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.42 compared to TWD 1.5053 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.42 compared to TWD 1.5053 a year ago.
Eternal Materials Co Ltd is a Taiwan-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sales of synthetic resins. The Company is also engaged in the manufacture of electronic chemical materials and special chemicals. The Company's products portfolio consists of general purpose resins, polyester resins, coating resins, special chemicals, circuit substrates, dry film photo resists, liquid crystal display (LCD) optical films, solar battery conductive adhesives, as well as silica gel materials for light emitting diode (LED) packaging and others. The Company's products are mainly applied in energy and public utilities, transportation industries, construction and furniture industries, electronics and motors, disposable consumer products, packaging and printing, healthcare and metal machinery. The Company distributes its products mainly in Taiwan, Mainland China and other markets.
