Les Forges de Tarbes, a subsidiary of Europlasma, announced on Tuesday that it had received approval from the French Ministry of Defense to export large-caliber hollow bodies produced in Tarbes and used in the manufacture of 155mm shells.

This authorization reinforces Europlasma's decision to increase production capacity at the Tarbes site. Nearly seven million euros will be invested over the next three years to increase the site's industrial capacity.

This will rise from 40,000 parts a year to 95,000 in 2024 and 120,000 in 2025.

This increase in production will enable us to meet a current order for 30.000 parts, representing sales of eight million euros, while retaining a capacity for conquest and diversification in a fast-growing market constrained by the lack of availability of forging materials.
