Faron Pharmaceuticals Oy is a Finland-based clinical stage biopharmaceutical company. The company has three drug candidates all based on mastering immune modulation and, as a result, tackling unmet needs in cancer, preventing organ damage and treating blood count abnormalities. The Company's goal is to build future immunotherapy, i.e., to bring new treatments to patients by affecting the immune system. Faronâs drug candidate, Traumakine, is a drug developed by the Company to prevent multi-organ damage and excessive inflammatory responses. Another drug candidate, Haematokine, promotes the expansion of bone marrow stem cells. It is being developed, e.g., for the treatment of chemotherapyinduced neutropenia (CIN). In neutropenia patients have less blood cells called neutrophils than normal due to cancer treatment.
