Force MOS Technology Co., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2023. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was TWD 148.47 million compared to TWD 332.53 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 2.74 million compared to net income of TWD 66.73 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.08 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 2.01 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.08 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 2 a year ago.
For the six months, sales was TWD 331.34 million compared to TWD 649.17 million a year ago. Net loss was TWD 0.927 million compared to net income of TWD 124.71 million a year ago. Basic loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.03 compared to basic earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 3.92 a year ago. Diluted loss per share from continuing operations was TWD 0.03 compared to diluted earnings per share from continuing operations of TWD 3.9 a year ago.
FORCE MOS TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. is principally engaged in the research and development, production, testing and distribution of transistors. The Companyâs products mainly include trench power metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs) and embedded gate bipolar MOSFETs for diodes protection. The Companyâs products are applied in notebook computers, mobile phones, electric cars, electric bicycles, liquid crystal display (LCD) TVs, motherboards, power supplies and digital cameras. The Company distributes its products in domestic market and overseas markets.
