FOSUN INTERNATIONAL LIMITED Recently, BBC Radio and local television reported for the first time that the first tower of the 400 kV Transmission Line Steel Pipe Pole Project of the UK National Grid was successfully erected, announcing that the world's first new T-pylon steel pipe tower integrated with modern aesthetic design concept has been set up steadily in Somerset. All the steel plates used in this project are produced by Nanjing Iron and Steel (NISCO), Nanjing, China.<_o3a_p>
Under the joint witness of Balfour Betty company and the on-site management personnel of national grid, the successful docking was realized by 6 operators in 4 hours. The project has changed the traditional image of transmission iron tower in the past. The design is highly recognizable and artistic. After completion, T-pylon will run through the whole UK and become a landmark project in the country, adding light to the national grid. It also shows the strength of China's iron and steel industry and the brand image of NISCO. Up to now, the southern section of the project has been completed and the northern section is under orderly construction.<_o3a_p>
The perfect landing of the first tower is the high-quality performance commitment of NISCO under the severe situation of the COVID-19 epidemic. It is not only the "milestone" of phased achievements, but also the "new starting point" of improving product quality. To ensure the high-quality and efficient delivery of European standard medium and heavy plate S355J2 of the project, all departments of NISCO give full play to the advantages of the integration of "production, marketing and research", build a green path for production and delivery, and finally overcome difficulties such as traffic control and personnel control to meet the needs of customers.<_o3a_p>
