Shede Goes Global, Exploring the Path of Globalization
Before the concert began, WE World - Shede's Gala: Shede Goes Global International Salon was held at the Orchestra Hall. James Heller, Consul General of the United States in Shanghai, Pasi Hellman, Consul General of Finland in Shanghai, Edward Shapira, Consul General of Israel in Shanghai, Chua Teng Hoe, Consul General of the Republic of Singapore in Shanghai, Chan Yok Yee, Consul General of the Republic of Fiji in Shanghai, Gilberto Fonseca Guimarães de Moura, Consul General of Brazil in Shanghai, Carlos Valera Paulino, Deputy Consul General of Mexico in Shanghai, and other guests were invited to enjoy the Shede's aged spirits and the culture of Shede.
At the salon, Xu Xiaoliang, Fosun International Co-CEO delivered a speech. He said, "Shede goes global is Shede's great aspiration to serve global families with the best products and share Shede's aged spirits with all. It is also Shede's action to promote Chinese liquor to go abroad, enabling global consumers to savor Chinese liquor, a true portrait of Fosun's commitment to globalization."

Under the national "One Belt, One Road" initiative and the establishment of a "dual circulation" strategy at home and abroad, Chinese brands are accelerating their overseas expansion. At the event, Pu Jizhou, Vice Chairman and President of Shede Spirits Co., Ltd. shared his strategic plan for'Shede Goes Global'. He said:"Shede's path of globalization leverages on the globalized Fosun. Today's 'Shede Goes Global' is a great starting point for us to expand into the global market. In the future, leveraging on the globalized platform provided by Fosun, we will focus on the global market, giving higher priorities to North America, East Asia, Western Europe, and Southeast Asian countries and regions. At the same time, we will formulate an overall operation strategy specifically for overseas markets, and create a multiplier effect with the empowerment of Fosun's globalization strategy."

2022 marks the 32nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Singapore, and is also an important starting point for Fosun's in-depth globalization in Singapore. The first batch of sample spirits from Shede have been delivered to Singapore, marking the first step for the company to open the Asian market. At the salon, Chua Teng Hoe, Consul General of the Republic of Singapore in Shanghai, delivered a speech and sent his best wishes for a successfully event.
At the salon, "The Great Gift Box of Shede" made its debut. This bottle of spirits is brewed with the "six traditional" craftsmanship, and is mixed by master mixologists using the original spirits that has been aged for more than eight years. The design of the gift box integrates international concepts and oriental aesthetics. Shede pursues breakthroughs to reach the ultimate; Shede establishes itself firmly to stand the test of time and shine brighter in the future.
Charity concert
After the salon, Zhang Lu, Assistant Conductor of the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, Yang Tingting, young pipa player, and Huang Ying, soprano performed at the Jaguar Shanghai Symphony Orchestra Hall.
Themed on "WE World", the 4th ONE FOSUN Shede Gala Concert ended and the two-week long 2021 ONE FOSUN CSR Week concluded successfully.
The sound of charity
At the gala concert, Wang Jianming, member and Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Federation of Industry and Commerce made an opening speech and affirmed Fosun's contribution in the field of public welfare as a representative of private enterprises, and said, "We will continue working hard to build good connections between caring enterprises and local government departments to promote high-quality development and achieve common prosperity."
Wang Yong, Secretary of the Party Committee of Sichuan Tuopai Shede Group Co., Ltd. shared the three public welfare concepts of Shede Spirits: "Shede for good, Shede for love", "Shede with love", "altruism as motivation, personal benefits as blessings".
Charity awards
Three major awards were presented at the event: "the Most Heart-Warming Charity Action of the Year ", "the Best Charity Partner of the Year", and "the Most Influential Charity Figure of the Year" to commend Fosun's member companies and individuals that have performed outstandingly in public welfare this year, and encourage employees to take up responsibility, advocating the concept of corporate involvement in community.
The Most Heart-Warming Charity Action of the Year
The frontline volunteer team, which played an important role in the flood relief in Henan, won the "The Most Heart-Warming Charity Action of the Year" award. After the flood, they travelled eight hundred miles and sent the "rescue equipment". At noon on 21 July, Fosun Foundation announced a donation of RMB50 million in funds and supplies to urgently assist Henan, especially Zhengzhou and other areas severely affected by the flood. As of 19:00 on 29 July 2021, RMB16,057,340.4 has been spent on the purchase of assault boats, amphibious vehicles, inflatable boats, materials for flood prevention, and living supplies. The remaining amount will be used in Henan's post-disaster reconstruction.
The Best Charity Partner the Year
This year, the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) Alumni Association won "the Best Charity Partner of the Year" award. During the fight against COVID-19 pandemic, the CEIBS Alumni Association and Fosun worked together to dispatch global anti-pandemic medical supplies to reach the affected area the fastest possible; delivered supplies by sea, land and air round the clock to support the Leishenshan Hospital from thousand miles away, working together to win the battle of COVID-19 pandemic.
The Most Influential Charity Figure of the Year
At this year's gala, Huang Yixin, Global Partner of Fosun, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Nanjing Iron and Steel, Huang Zhen, Global Partner of Fosun, Chairman and President of Yuyuan Inc., Wu Yifang, Global Partner of Fosun, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fosun Pharma received the "Most Influential Charity Figure of the Year" award.
Nanjing Iron and Steel, Yuyuan Inc. and Fosun Pharma have all made substantial contribution to public welfare activities such as anti-pandemic, Henan flood relief, and Rural Doctors Program. Among them, Nanjing Iron & Steel sent employee volunteers of Fosun enterprise to station in counties of the Rural Doctors Program for three consecutive years, contributing the "power of steel and iron" for the rural revitalization. Yuyuan Inc. donated RMB10 million (including RMB4 millionby Forte and RMB1 millionby Jinhui Liquor) during the flood control in Henan. Fosun Foundation and Fosun Pharma jointly launched the "Fosun Love 121" health care initiative and established the "Fosun Love 121" special fund to help mankind overcome diseases and realize the vision of extending human's life expectancy to 121 years old.
ONE FOSUN CSR Week concluded successfully
A series of charity activities were launched at this year's ONE FOSUN CSR Week. More than 60 events have been held and 46 charity projects have been initiated, including 34 domestic projects and 12 overseas projects, covering 42 cities. More than half of Fosun's global employees participated in the event, sending warmth and care to more families worldwide through charity work.
At the concert, Wang Jinyuan, Honorary Chairman of the Fosun Foundation, reviewed the work of the Fosun Foundation in the past year and gave an overview of future. She said, "On the basis of existing projects, Fosun Foundation will organically integrate public welfare with art, education and other fields to explore a more distinctive rural revitalization model. In the future, we hope that with everyone's efforts, Fosun Foundation can send more warmth to the world."
