Fort Lauderdale, Florida, October 1, 2020. Templeton Global Income Fund [NYSE: GIM] today announced a monthly distribution from net investment income of $0.0156 per share, payable on October 30, 2020, to shareholders of record on October 15, 2020 (Ex-Dividend Date: October 14, 2020).

Franklin Universal Trust (Fund) is a closed-end management investment company. The Fund's primary investment objective is to provide high, current income consistent with preservation of capital. Its secondary objective is growth in income through dividend increases and capital appreciation. It invests primarily in two asset classes: high yield bonds and utility stocks.
