Frauenthal Group reported group earnings results for the nine months September 2014. The group revenue for the first three quarters of the year advanced to EUR 446.8 million, up from EUR 336.6 million a year earlier. The increase is chiefly attributable to the acquisition of ÖAG AG (EUR 76 million) and the Gnotec Group; the comparative period of 2013 includes revenue from Gnotec for just five months. The EUR 11.4 million rise in earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) to EUR 20.6 million was mainly attributable to the Frauenthal Automotive Division. The improvement was made possible by the Gnotec Group acquisition in May 2013 and restructuring measures in the air tank business. Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) were up almost threefold from EUR 3.3 million to EUR 12.3 million.

The group's continuing operations are expected to report a significant year-on-year improvement in earnings in 2014.
