Frauenthal Holding AG reported earnings results for the 2013. For the period, the company reported a 12.7% increase in revenue to EUR 574.8 million compared with EUR 509.9 million for 2012. This increase was attributable to the Swedish automobile component supplier Gnotec, which contributed EUR 59.3 million between May and December 2013, and the first-time inclusion of SHT Slovensko's full-year earnings.

The Group posted a loss of EUR 22.5 million compared with a profit of EUR 7.9 million in 2012. Adjusted for impairments, Group EBIT came in at EUR 9.2 million, a year-on-year improvement of EUR 1.3 million. The Gnotec acquisition and the restructuring of the air reservoir business set a major signal in the direction of long-term profitability in the Frauenthal Automotive Division.

Earnings impacted by non-recurring expenses.
