EBIT from continuing operations was EUR 0.3 million against EUR 2.5 million a year ago. Loss for the period from continuing operations was EUR 0.7 million against profit for the period from continuing operations of EUR 1.2 million a year ago. The total revenue of Frauenthal Automotive and Frauenthal Trade rose by EUR 56.1 million or 48.4% year on year. Revenue at Frauenthal Automotive grew by 1.7% and at Frauenthal Trade by 84.5%. This increase was attributable to the acquisition of ÖAG AG, which contributed EUR 55.1 million in the period from January to March.

At EUR 3.7 million, Group earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation for the first quarter of 2015 were down by EUR 1.3 million on the comparative period of 2014. The decrease was largely attributable to Frauenthal Automotive, which accounted for EUR 1.2 million of the shortfall, while Frauenthal Trade accounted for EUR 0.1 million. The drop in Frauenthal Automotive's earnings reflects the unusually strong results in the same period a year earlier, which was attributable to an atypical product mix for the Gnotec Group.

In the Frauenthal Trade Division the decline was due to the negative contribution to earnings made by ÖAG AG, which was not included in the results for the first quarter of 2014.
