EVENDALE, Ohio - GE (NYSE: GE) Aerospace today announced that Germaine Hunter will join the company as Chief Diversity Officer, effective May 1, 2023.

GE Chairman and CEO and GE Aerospace CEO H. Germaine joins us from Marathon Petroleum where he served as the chief diversity executive and talent acquisition leader. In this role, Germaine advised senior management and the board of directors on the company's inclusion strategy, employment-branding initiatives, external partnerships, and equitable business practices. Prior to Marathon, Germaine spent more than 20 years working in the consumer-packaged goods industry and held a variety of strategic planning and new brand development roles, including serving as the first chief diversity officer at The Clorox Company. Germaine holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business and a bachelor's degree in finance from Georgetown University.
