Geniee, Inc. (TSE:6562) entered into an agreement to acquire Zelto, Inc. on January 31, 2023. Geniee, Inc. will acquire 5.4 million shares of Zelto. Geniee, Inc. have procured a loan of ¥?6 billion and fund the transaction from it. The board of directors of Geniee approved the transaction on January 26, 2023. The transaction is expected to close by February 28, 2023. Akhilesh Pandey of BDO acted as due diligence provider to Geniee, Inc.
Geniee, Inc. (TSE:6562) completed the acquisition of Zelto, Inc. on March 2, 2023. The company will continue to operate under the Zelto brand name.
Geniee, Inc. is a Japan-based company mainly engaged in the advertising technology businesses. The Company mainly provides three kinds of services. The advertising platform service provides GenieeSSP, a platform that provides services for Internet media operators, and GenieeDSP, a platform that provides services for advertisers and advertising network operators. The marketing automation service is engaged in the provision of MAJIN, a marketing automation platform, the provision of Chikyu, a cloud-type customer management and sales management system. The overseas service is engaged in the advertising platform business focused on GenieeSSP. The Company mainly provides services to local companies in Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and India.
