ALISO VIEJO, Calif. (AP) — ALISO VIEJO, Calif. (AP) — Glaukos Corp. (GKOS) on Wednesday reported a loss of $36.8 million in its fourth quarter.

The Aliso Viejo, California-based company said it had a loss of 75 cents per share. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 63 cents per share.

The results did not meet Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of nine analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for a loss of 56 cents per share.

The glaucoma treatments developer posted revenue of $82.4 million in the period, exceeding Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $81.2 million.

For the year, the company reported a loss of $134.7 million, or $2.78 per share. Revenue was reported as $314.7 million.

Glaukos expects full-year revenue in the range of $350 million to $360 million.
