MADRID, Nov 21 (Reuters) - Spanish construction conglomerate ACS will appoint Emilio Grande, who until recently was the chief financial officer of its Australian subsidiary Cimic Group, as the group's CFO, an ACS spokesperson said on Tuesday, without elaborating further.

Grande had been in charge of Cimic finances between January 2021 and last June, when Derek Kerr was named CFO there, according to the company website.

The Spanish company's activities encompass construction, road concessions and energy, and are mainly concentrated in the United States, Australia, Spain and Canada.

Last year, ACS appointed Juan Santamaria Cases as chief executive officer. Santamaria also serves as CEO of ACS' German unit, Hochtief, and president of Cimic Group and Abertis.

Angel Garcia Altozano, the current general manager of ACS, will remain in his position, the company added. (Reporting by Andres Gonzalez in London and Corina Pons in Madrid, editing by Andrei Khalip)
