HOCHTIEF listing in Dow Jones

Sustainability Europe Index renewed

■ Recognition of sustainable business management

■ Sole German construction company in DJSI

HOCHTIEF Aktiengesellschaft has once again qualified for inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability Europe Index (DJSI) in 2014 and is the only German construction company to be listed there. "We are proud that our Corporate Responsibility performance is rewarded in this way," says HOCHTIEF CEO Marcelino Fernández Verdes. After all, "clients and investors also increasingly demand transparency and documented sustainability engagement." HOCHTIEF is also listed in worldwide renowned ratings such as the MSCI Global Sustainability Index and the ETHIBEL Sustainability Excellence Europe.
The DJSI indexes incorporate value-oriented companies that take into account and document economic, environmental and social criteria in their business management. The Group has for many years been strongly committed to promoting and implementing a Group-wide sustainability strategy. For example, the Australian subsidiary Leighton is included in the DJSI Australia. One cornerstone of the transparent documentation of these efforts is the HOCHTIEF Sustainability Report which has been published regularly since
