Chapelfield deals for Cafe Rouge and Holland & Barrett as Boux Avenue opens 17 April 2012

Chapelfield, the Norwich shopping centre owned by Capital Shopping Centres (CSC), has announced two new lettings on the day that Theo Paphitis opens his latest Boux Avenue store there.

Restaurant chain Café Rouge will open a 3,595 sq ft store at unit 201A on the upper mall of Chapelfield opposite Carluccio's. The new deal is part of CSC's increasing focus on ensuring all its centres boast a diverse and exciting catering offer to increase dwell time whilst also meeting the growing demand from catering retailers. The deal also follows the introduction of Yo! Sushi and Ask to Chapelfield last year as CSC has sought to make Chapelfield a catering destination in its own right.

As well as Café Rouge, CSC has signed health specialist Holland & Barrett who will open a 1,771 sq ft store next door to the new restaurant at unit 201B.

A spokesman for Café Rouge said: "We are thrilled to be bringing the Café Rouge brand to Chapelfield. Café Rouge will offer shoppers a fresh all-day dining experience and perfectly complements the other retailers at the centre."

Martin Breeden, Asset Management Director for CSC, said: "We are delighted to welcome yet more new retailers to Chapelfield. Café Rouge helps us to further build our catering offer at the scheme which we began strengthening last year and allows us to present our customers with a great choice of dining out options whilst Holland & Barrett strengthens our breadth of offer on the retail side by introducing a popular brand to the centre. With Theo Paphitis also at the centre today to open his latest Boux Avenue store we are delivering some very strong retailers to our shoppers."

Chapelfield was represented by Francis Darrah and Lunson Mitchenall. Holland & Barrett and Café Rouge both represented themselves.
