An unknown buyer agreed to acquire 20.34418% stake in E&F Diamond PEF Co., Ltd. from IS DongSeo Co., Ltd. (KOSE:A010780) for KRW 45.159 billion on April 19, 2023. Transaction is expected to close on April 21, 2023.
IS Dongseo Co Ltd is a Korea-based company principally engaged in the construction business. The Company operates its business through seven segments. Construction segment is engaged in the construction of apartments, villas, schools, museums, leisure facilities, residential-commercial complexes and others. Ceramic Industry segment manufactures and sells tiles, sanitary wares and bidets. Concrete segment is engaged in the manufacture of prestressed high-strength concrete (PHC) piles, concrete segments, general prestressed concretes, rail ties and others. Rental segment is engaged in the equipment leasing business. Environmental Business segment conducts construction waste collection, transportation and intermediate treatment, car demolition recycling business, as well as services. Marine Transportation segment engages in the marine transportation business. Other segment is engaged in the leasing business.
