J-Oil Mills Inc. said that it will establish a meal and feed business foothold in western Japan jointly with group companies of the National Federation of Agricultural Cooperative Associations, or JA-Zennoh. In the joint project in Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, J-Oil Mills will built a soybean crushing plant and the two JA-Zennoh affiliates a formula feed plant and a silo, respectively. The crushing plant will supply soybean meal chiefly for the feed production plant.

J-Oil Mills will invest JPY 6 billion and the JA-Zennoh group JPY 21 billion.
