Oilseed Processing Partners Japan, Ltd agreed to acquire Oilseed processing in the Mizushima and Kurashiki Plant from The Nisshin OilliO Group,Ltd. and J-Oil Mills, Inc.

Oilseed Processing Partners Japan, Ltd agreed to acquire Oilseed processing in the Mizushima and Kurashiki Plant from The Nisshin OilliO Group,Ltd. (TSE:2602) and J-Oil Mills, Inc. (TSE:2613) on February 20, 2023. The Nisshin OilliO Group and J-Oil Mills will transfer a portion of the assets, rights and obligations of their oilseed processing business to the new joint venture company. The transaction has already been approved by Nisshin OilliO Group, Ltd. and J-Oil Mills board of directors.

The transaction is expected to close on April 3, 2023.
