Iceland Foods Ltd., Tesco PLC, J. Sainsbury plc and Wm. Morrison Supermarkets plc have submitted bids to acquire stores of HMV Group plc. Deloitte, administrator for HMV, along with CBRE, has set a deadline of February 8, 2013 to bids on more than 220 shop leases.

Tesco is thought to want 20 stores, Iceland is eyeing up 50 and Sainsbury's around 25. Shops of Jessops plc and BB Liquidating Inc. are also on the market and Savills is hired to handle the sale. Morrisons is said to be keen on a batch of Blockbuster stores in residential locations.
